Dedicated to your game
Whether you are a beginner looking to grasp the fundamentals or a seasoned professional looking for objective feedback, GolfAnalytix has the right solution for you.
Our philosophy is straightforward and simple to follow. We believe that there are three fundamentals areas that require attention throughout your lifetime as a golfer:
- The Right Technique
- The Right Equipment
- The Right Head Game
GolfAnalytix quite literally addresses these areas by bringing together two fundamental areas of expertise; golf and analytics. In addition to providing you with proper technical guidance, sound equipment advice and insights into sports psychology; this web site will serve to aggregate all of the data on your game that most people take for granted. Handicap index, swing angles, ball spin, shaft flex, etc. etc. all represent data points that we will collect for you, analyze and model and report back to you in the form of game changing insights.
Thank you and enjoy!

Playing for 40 years , have a 13 index- I have never been able to make a full turn, EXCEPT in Practice swings. I have been lucky enough to have strong arms and wrists (due to bowling and racquetball expertise) I would love to gain confidence to make a full swing – CAN you HElp?
Thank you for posting! We can certainly help out with getting you to turn with confidence. You have already provided some helpful info but I will be emailing you a questionnaire to get a clearer picture of your golfing profile before offering some advice (type of clubs, history of injury, practice frequency, etc.). We are looking forward to helping you out with your golfing needs.
Best regards,
Michel

I struggle with how the arms and shoulders work together. I have read hand and arm methods as well as big muscle (torso) methods. I do not seem to be able to create much power. I am 64 and have played for forty years but am not sure I understand fundamentally how to swing correctly.
Hello Frank,
Trying to incorporate multiple swing philosophies on the course can be a difficult task. Please check your inbox as I forwarded you a copy of our Swing Manual that was generated from user interactions such as this. Hopefully you’ll enjoy the content and provide us with some feedback.

I have a problem with holding my lag angle on the down and come over the top too many times, Are there drills that will help.
Hi Daniel,
Thank you very much for the question and Michel will be getting back to you a bit later today (he is presently competing in tournament). If you haven’t already done so, please do join our site with the form above and like our facebook page. This will help us provide you with a more tailored experience.
Sincerely,
Laurent Painchaud, co-founder GolfAnalytix.com
Hello Daniel,
My apologies for the delay. There is one drill in particular that we call the “Pump Drill”. Would it be possible for you to email me a video of your swing to michel@golfanalytix.com? With this footage I can do a side-by-side comparison with the drill video.
I’m looking to help my parents enjoy golf as they live through their 70′s and early 80′s. They were both excellent golfers (father was a 2 and mother was under a 10 on into her 50′s). I would like help with their swings, equipment selections, fitness exercises, and mentally playing with a declining game–a tough thing to do when you are used to making shots consistently.
Hello Dan,
First of all, it is wonderful that you are looking to help your parents continue to enjoy the sport. Golf is certainly one of the rare and beautiful sports that can be enjoyed regardless of generations.
As mentioned above, Michel is at a tournament right now, but will be in contact with you later on this afternoon. The pillars of GolfAnalytix are T.E.A.M.

We should have all of your bases covered and we are looking forward to helping you with these questions. If you haven’t already done so, please do fill in the form above and like us on facebook. One of our objectives is to build a very strong GolfAnalytix community and every person counts

Hello Dan,
Excellent posting…it’s comments such as yours that contribute greatly to our Analytix method.
We can certainly assist in ensuring that your parents get the most enjoyment possible out of their golf game. As Laurent mentioned we are firm believers in the TEAM approach, which stretches to all ages and skill levels. Recently our students have seen great success with the DS7 swing method but we are also currently developing a program that is less physically demanding but still follows the Dynamic Static framework. I will be sending you a beta version of this altered swing theory in the next few days.
We are looking forward to keeping this conversation going!

Golf Analytix Team,
I’m going to see my parents this weekend, and I plan on filming their swings for analysis. I want to use my FlipVideo Camera. How do you want me to film them? Should I film them from the side and / or from behind the ball? How many swings do you want or need for each? And finally how do I send you the videos? Thanks again. I’m excited about your analysis and help.
In Him,
Dan
Hey Guys,
Sorry about the above e-mail; I read further and found the answers to what I needed in the “Online Academy” tab and by clicking on the “Not A Member?” link. I look forward to working with you.

Dan
Hi Dan,
Not a problem…I just emailed you a link to our introduction questionnaire, which helps us enormously with the swing and game analysis.
We look forward to reading your answers and viewing your swing footage real soon!
Michel
Help! I need so much help I don’t even know where to start. My biggest frustration right now is my swing. I have no power and people are constantly telling me to put more of my butt into my swing. I have no idea how to do that. I try to use my hips, but it seems to me that it is just my arms that are doing the work. I would appreciate any advice you can give me. I have a short video of my swing off the tee if that will help.
Hello Judy,
Let’s get started with the GolfAnalytix general questionnaire. I am emailing this to you now. You will notice at the end there is a place for you to upload your swing video, which will be very helpful in us helping you improve.
We look forward to seeing your answers.
Best regards,
Michel Painchaud
Your immediate response to my joining was incredible and within days I was sent the questionnaire to complete for a preliminary analysis! How refreshing it is to find a site that treats you like an individual even though there are thousands who use it and are begging for help. Thank you so much from one who is not in a financial or time management place to get lessons in person!
